Mexican restaurant

Frida’s Hawaii is a traditional Mexican food restaurant in O’ahu, Hawaii. This family-run business operated in California for many years before they decided to move to the island off the Pacific coast. They began with a food truck and later consolidated their presence with a fixed location in the island for deliveries and a small sit-down space for their famous “Taco Tuesday” with tacos at US$1.

The project and challenges

The restaurant needed a simple and fast way of displaying the menu with basic contact and location information, all the while with a user-friendly interface to change prices and photographs.

We built a one-page site with the contact info along with the menu, and all original graphic content. The site also has a landing page that shows the menu as the first interaction upon opening the page, shortening the time for the client to make their purchase decision and making the online food ordering experience as smooth as possible.

The website is built on WordPress, with plugins that make changes design or content changes easier.
